A telegram was received yesterday by friends in this county announcing the death of Samuel Sanford of Muncie, Illinois, the death occurring Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Sanford was in his 78th year and had resided at Muncie for the past 15 years. He was born and reared in the neighborhood of Shannondale and was well and favorably known in that community. The deceased leaves a widow and four children towit: James of this city; Robert of Lebanon and John and Mrs. Sadie Young of Indianapolis. The funeral will be held this afternoon at Muncie and burial will be in the cemetery of that place. - kbz
